Part Time - Cook/Cafeteria Attendant
The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson is seeking a part-time Cook/Cafeteria Attendant. Ideal candidates have flexible availability, excellent customer service skills, and the desire to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. Candidates must also be able to work in sauté pantries and fry stations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Prep, serve and clean up employee Cafeteria
- Provide fast, friendly, and responsive customer service to culinary co-workers and the restaurant service team.
- Prepare food items per ticket order or as required for production, including soups, sauces, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, and breakfast items.
- Employ proper cooking methods, cook to specifications, and handle, store, and rotate food properly following established health and safety standards.
- Maintains the highest sanitary standards.
- Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
- Maintains safety and security in the workstation.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good knife skills.
- Ability to move/transfer (up to 40 lbs).
- Ability to remain stationary for long periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- 3 years of culinary experience required.
- Direct breakfast cookery expertise.
- Banquet experience preferred.
